The Rhug Bronze organic Turkey is a truly free range bird reared and finished on clover rich pastures for the Christmas market. These turkeys are surpassed by none when it comes to quality and taste.
The Rhug Organic Bronze Turkey is a mixture several bloodlines blended to give the ultimate in eating quality.
These birds are reared under the strict control of the Soil Association Organic accreditation using no hormones, antibiotics, additives or animal protein. Care for the environment in which they grow and the welfare of these birds is of paramount importance at Rhug to give a totally stress free life style. The turkeys, chickens and geese are lovingly cared for by a small dedicated team at Rhug
To ensure they have a balanced, healthy diet, their foraging is supplemented by the traditional home grown organic feed which is totally GM-free.
We are passionate about the meat we produce off the farm at Rhug and our whole business philosophy is based on producing the best quality, taste. Everything we produce is certified as organic by the Soil Association.

As we breed these turkeys naturally weights can vary so to help you we are selling by bracketed weight. For example an extra large will be between 7.5kg and 8.5kg in weight, the price quoted is for guide purposes and is based on the mid weight of 8kg. Most importantly we have used our knowledge of the last 6 years to determine how many poeple each size of bird will feed, this information is also included and is shown covering the bracketed weight, eg: an extra large turkey (7.5kg to 8.5kg) will feed between 14 - 16 people.

Organic Free Range Christmas Goose
The traditional Christmas dinner bird. This is now the third year we have produced geese and follows on from last years very successful and well received birds. Our Organic geese are bred outdoors free to range open pastures in a most natural way with access to water and natural forage.
In comparison to turkeys, geese yield less meat per similar weight bird so please bear this in mind when ordering.
The number of geese we have is limited so this is a real opportunity to have that traditional Christmas but this is on a first come first served basis.
We expect these geese to finish out at between 4.5kg and 5.5kg. We expect a 5kg goose to feed between 6 and 8 people.
