Fishing & Shooting

The Estate has a number of fishing and shooting tenants who enjoy good sport here, which we hope to see continue for many years.  In recent years fishing tenants on the River Dee & Alwen have seen the fishing improve dramatically.  The Estate fishing is rented to two syndicates and a local fishing club who enjoy trout, salmon and grayling fishing.

Shooting on the estate is rented to five syndicates who shoot pheasant, duck & partridge.  Pheasants are wonderfully adaptable birds and can be found all over the British Isles. They are the corner stone of the British shooting season and there are many who believe the high curling pheasant to be the finest challenge in all shooting sports.
